Spending Cuts – Have your say!

Its a fact that our prisons are high cost overcrowded institutions , it could also be an indication that current punishment for crime isn’t effective in preventing re-offending. One suggestion is for those convicted for vandalism should serve 2 years of compulsory national service, the benefit would be both to the individual in learning manners, discipline, respect for others and their property, and a trade. The general public would benefit in the service they would give in protecting our country and the high likelyhood  they would not re-offend but instead take  a grip and make something of themselves.
