As a rule transfers on a Saturday or Sunday are quicker due to less traffic on the motorway which saves us time & fuel so we are passing this saving on to you to help keep your costs down.

Valentines day

Whilst it may all be about expressing how much you care about another on valentines day, its not a bad idea to think about how much you care about yourself. If you didn’t get a card, flowers , cholcolates, or some other token of love and appreciation, why not take  alittle time out and spoil yourself with whatever pleases you most!

The biggest economic lever being pulled to jump start the economy is Quantitative Easing by the Bank of England. I would like someone to set out – in cold, objective terms – the pros and cons of this for our economy,as I’m far from convinced it’s a good idea!…what do you think?

After all the snow over the week-end there was plenty of opportunity to have fun and make a snowman!. It is now starting to thaw however there will be plenty of ice around in the morning so do be careful!. As usual we will be out there getting you to where you need to be safely.

With very severe low temperatures being endured in Eastern Europe, we are now starting to see the start of very cold weather ourselves with the prospect of significant snow fall over the week-end. With ever increasing cost of fuel it is  a challenge to keep the home heated all the time, so get out those winter woollies, hat, scarfes and gloves and if needed wear them indoors, to help stay warm. There are also “Oil Clubs” for those of you who use heating oil, the idea being buying in bulk from one supplier helps keep the cost down.

Whilst Croatia celebrate It’s membership of the EU  from July 2013, is it time the UK took at look at it’s welfare reforms to ensure it dosn’t burden alone the responsibility of being the bread basket of Europe, as we progress through the 21st century.
